Nailing your nutrition is the true secret to losing fat. Get it right most of the time, and you will see results.
IIFYM (If It Fits Your Macros) is my preferred ‘method’ of diet control. You can eat what ever you want, as long as you stay within your calorie range and macro goals. This works for me because I have a BIG sweet tooth. So I make sure to fit in my treats every day by planning ahead in my nutrition plan. However, you will learn that maybe sometimes those poor food choices aren’t really what you want or your body needs. By following a flexible macro plan, you can decide what foods stay each day and what foods need to go.
As long as you’re in a calorie deficit, you should lose weight. Getting enough protein in your diet + strength training will determine whether you are losing fat or losing muscle mass.
As a Certified Nutrition Coach, I will guide you through this process and show you the world of Macros! You will learn what are important components when selecting different dietary choices, and how to order off of a restaurant menu without blowing your diet or having anxiety. Its a learning process that will bring you so much awareness on foods and your eating habits. But tracking isn’t forever – once the learning process is complete, you can take the training wheels off and continue on with your healthier eating habits – creating a SUSTAINABLE HEALTHY LIFESTYLE.
